Safety
Safety Guidelines
TourShare helps players coordinate tournament travel, but every user is responsible for making safe decisions when arranging housing, rides, practice sessions, stringing, payments, or meetups.
1. Verify who you are talking to
Check the player’s public profile, verification status, tennis background, mutual contacts, and tournament plans before making arrangements.
2. Use caution with housing
Confirm hotel names, addresses, check-in dates, costs, roommate expectations, cancellation rules, and payment details before agreeing to split housing.
3. Be careful with rides
Confirm pickup time, airport, destination, driver, car details, payment amount, and backup plan. Share your ride details with someone you trust.
4. Avoid risky payments
Do not send large payments to players you do not know. Be careful with deposits, wire transfers, gift cards, crypto, or any request that feels rushed or suspicious.
5. Meet smart
For first-time meetups, choose public places like tennis clubs, tournament sites, hotel lobbies, airports, or other safe locations.
6. Report suspicious behavior
Report fake profiles, harassment, scams, impersonation, unsafe behavior, or misleading tournament information through the contact page.
